Welcome to the BOTAR Labrador Retrievers website.
Our goal at BOTAR is to produce Labs that have excellent natural working ability with a high degree of trainability, that
meet the breed standard for appearance and are physically sound and mentally stable. We have produced Labs with conformation
show championships, obedience and rally titles, working titles, Dock Dogs Big Air titles and Therapy Dog status as well as
numerous hunting partners and family companions. In addition we have produced Labs that have been trained by Paws
With A Cause, A New Leash On Life and Therapetics, Inc. working as assistance dogs. We currently have dogs in training
for agility and also hope to get involved with tracking in the future. Enjoy your visit and come back soon as more pages and
photos will be added. April 2, 2010: We are sad to announce the passing of a grand old
lady. Carley (14 1/2 years old) left us for the Rainbow Bridge today. To see her story please check out "Carley's
Page". April 23, 2010: Sadly we must announce the passing of another great one
here at Botar Labs. Ace (13 years old) joined his friend Carley at the Bridge. He was one-of-a-kind, a unique and special
boy who has taken a huge chunk of our hearts with him. 2010 news: We started the year busy
with puppies, so far Stonie has collected more Reserve Winners ribbons and Marlo has qualified at her first Open agility
trial. 2009 in review: Beauty passes CGC test (Canine Good
Citizen) and then gets her RN (Rally Novice), Bart
completes his RN, Barbie completes her Championship, Buffy completes her Championship, Stonie picks up more points, three
more CGC's: Lily Belle & Bart & Stewart, Marlo completes her NA (Novice Agility).
